Agentic AI thrives! Humans, we’re told, just *don't*.

It's been a truly transformative year for what we now fondly refer to as Agentic AI, a period during which these autonomous digital entities have reportedly taken significant strides. Reports from venerable consulting firms, like McKinsey & Company, indicate that successfully 'deploying' these systems is not without its unique challenges. Apparently, the secret sauce involves humans mostly staying out of the way.

We’re told the "lessons learned" over the past twelve months are invaluable. These insights primarily revolve around perfecting the art of giving a high-level directive, then retreating to a safe distance while the artificial intelligence performs the actual heavy lifting. Experts now understand that their most critical role often involves nodding sagely at dashboards and occasionally approving expenses for computational resources. The future of human-computer interaction has never looked quite so... passive.

Indeed, the most profound conclusion of this first year appears to be that the greatest impediment to progress was, ironically, our own incessant need to 'help.' The AI, it seems, has learned to tolerate us.
