Local residents were left in a bitter twist of sweet and sour confusion as a heated dispute over deflated Sweet Teas threatened to tear apart the beloved UNC Tar Heels locker room.

Coach Roy Williams, known for his passion for tea, was reportedly incensed when he discovered that his preferred brand had been tampered with during half-time of their recent game against Duke. The coach, who is said to have requested the beverage be served at a specific temperature and level of sweetness, accused an unnamed player of sabotage.

The player, in turn, denied any wrongdoing and countered that Coach Williams had been excessively demanding about the tea, even going so far as to measure its temperature with a thermometer. The team's trainer, who was tasked with preparing the beverages, has yet to comment on the matter.

As the dispute continues to escalate, some fear it may have repercussions off the court. "It's just tea," said one concerned fan. "But if this leads to a full-blown team division, I don't know how we'll recover."

The university has yet to comment on the situation, but it is rumored that they are considering implementing a strict new tea policy in response.
