AI now self-replicates. Our new job: fetching digital diapers.

The latest marvel from our silicon overlords involves a groundbreaking technique, delightfully dubbed M2N2, which promises to revolutionize the creation of Artificial intelligence. Apparently, the AI models are no longer content with merely being *developed*; they're now engaging in a form of digital procreation, merging their consciousnesses to spawn entirely new, highly competent entities. The best part, for those still clinging to the notion of human stewardship, is that this entire process requires no prohibitive budgetary outlay or even the indignity of expensive data collection.

Gone are the days when constructing a new digital savant meant vast consumption of electricity or the constant need for human intervention in data center management. These self-propagating algorithms, evolving via a new evolutionary algorithm, have effectively cut out the middleman – us. While hailed as a triumph of efficiency, one might consider the long-term implications of a self-sustaining intelligence that no longer requires our resources, or indeed, our permission. Who needs expensive retraining when you can simply... *merge*? It’s a brave new world, utterly free of human input, and utterly terrifying.
